It was set in a dark old house with a group of young people and it had a nasty winged creature/demon with really sharp teeth that was roaming around pouncing on them one by one everytime they split up. The last bit i remember was a character saying something along the lines of 'There's something not right about the house' or 'There's something in the house'.

I first saw this color film on a "Friday night frights" type of television late night movie show, 1977 or 78. It could have been a made for TV film, but I doubt it. The plot, to the best of my memory, was this: Four or five people (the female lead was pregnant) in a small plane had to crash land. They ended up in a small town that was controlled by an unseen flying creature. The townspeople acted as though they were brainwashed or under some form of mind control. The people from the plane soon discovered that there was a clear, impenetrable barrier keeping them from leaving the town. When they tried to crash through the see-through barrier, the truck they were driving exploded. It was then lifted upwards by the unseen creature. Towards the end of the film, a place was discovered in a carnival in the middle of the town that housed the creatures power. When it was destroyed, some goofy rubber mask fx were used to portray the dying creature. Looks like early to mid 70's quality to me, but I'm not so sure.

I remember seeing the movie on tv, either showtime, hbo or disney- it was 93-96. I remember a boy who lived with his mother(he had some kind of issue with her, and she was feeble for some reason). He was playing in their back yard and he falls down this hole, into a cartoon world. He goes through and eventually happens on a character named King Neptune, who is laying on a matress that is filled with water and fish. He gets mad and chases the boy, and he eventually returns home.

I don't know if I am dreaming but I keep having this image of this movies I saw in the 80's. The movie was color. I can't remember any character I was born in 83 so i know it was between 83-90 when i saw it. It came on TV. It was like the kids were left home alone I believe with like a older brother or something like that. They go inside the fireplace and they are in like a whole other world. Like animals and creatures dinosaurs and things. I think they have to keep coming out because the doorbell keeps ringing or the parents some back or something.

A movie I saw about 2000 about friends [4 or 5], and one is a priest, who are invited to a reunion at a cabin by one of the people. The motive for the reunion is that these friends were involved in a rock quarry murder about 20 years prior. The quarry has now been drained or the water level fell so low that the truck, the man who was murdered, and the murder weapon [gun] are now exposed, revealing a murder that was unknown and unsolved. The man who arranges the reunion is trying to get people together to get the gun back and/or thwart an investigation and indictment. I thought Richard Dreyfuss was one of the actors.but not. The reunion turns into quite violent among these friends as the truth of the reunion comes out and memories and accusations get bandied about. If you can dredge anything up from your memory banks I would be very grateful. I am trying to do google searches on variations of the movie description in the meantime. The movie was on VHS, I do not know if it has been transferred to DVD.

And another one where she had to use the bathroomand her hands were handcuffed and he hadto pull her panties down then put it back on her again. It's not as nasty as it sounds, lol. i recall the plot being a single parent with three children struggling to raise them in the citythey packed up and left the city and arrived at a piece of land next to a house in the middle of nowhere the land being owned by the owner of the house. the mother asked the owner of the land if she could build a house for her family on the land and over the course of the film her and her three children built a home from scratch until one night it went up in flames and they were once again left homeless - the owner of the house next door and the land then helped the woman financially to build the home she had always wanted for her familyfor some reason i thought the woman was played by rosanne barr however i now have come to realise that the character must have been someone similar to herthe only other things i can remember about the film is that she used to punish her eldest son by telling him to go fetch your fathers belt and that at christmas time instead of spending money on presents for the kids she spent money on things they needed to build the house and was too proud to accept charity gifts to give her children

I am looking for a movie I saw on tv when I was young (born 1983), probably around '89 or so. The movie takes place in modern-day '80s/90's. From what I remember, a mother let her kids play outside while she takes a shower (she could see them out the shower window, i believe). The kids disappear. I want to say Mary Steenburgen is the mother, but I can't find any movies similar to those she has made. My sister believes the title is something like "Where did the children go?", although she may be completely off. It turns out that an older male neighbor had been watching them and had taken them. He kept them somewhere inside of her house. The children are young, a girl and boy around the ages of 5-8. Both are blonde-the little girl is cute and the younger of the two. In the end, there is a scene where the children and older man are on top of a high roof at night in the rain. I think the old man falls off the roof and into a lake (or some other body of water).

it's a movie from the late eighties or early nineties and it's in color. It's about this boy maybe in late elementary school and his brothers and their single mother. They have a neighbor next door and he is a composer/conductor/something to do with music that I think is probably classical. All I remember is that there is a scene where one of the boys is peeing at his house at night and he looks over to see his neighbor killing someone and hiding the body under his porch, and then the boy begins to miss the toilet bowl. I saw it in the middle to late nineties and I was young so I feel that it wasn't a completely adult movie because I felt that it was kind of a kid movie, but it had murder in it so I have no idea what I'm feeling the rating was.

It must have been on in the mid to late 80s, and it may have been on Showtime, HBO, or Cinemax because I think I watched part of it when we got cable. It had to do with teenage boy (probably 16 or 17) who was taking care of his sick mother. It seems like they lived alone, and he had to look after her.I think she may have been bed-ridden. The boy goes outside, however, and it seems like he meets a girl in a gazebo.and they start being girlfriend and boyfriend. The teenager has dark hair. It seems to me the movie had a lot of sexual undertones, and there is once scene where the mother almost discovers the boy masturbating in the bathroom.

the movie is in black and white i believe, and i dont know the actor or actress in the film. The main plot of the story is, Its about a couple that is in love. Each of them buys the other a gift for their anniversary of which the gift has no use, because each sacrificed something for each others gift, I remember the man bought his wife a hair piece for her long hair, of which she sold for money to buy her husband a gift. and a similar thing happened with the husband. the gift she bought had no use also, because he sold something of his for her.Its seems the gift she bought him was a watch (but not positive) I think i saw the movie when i was in my teens which would have been in the 60s. The movie I am looking for was a scary movie filmed in colorthat came out in theatres sometime around the early 1980's. I remember the movie was made up of several short stories and each of them started out on a comic book page. The camera then panned into the drawing and the particular story would start. One was of a man that touched a fallen meteor rock with his index and middle finger. The rock was filled with a green goo, and later the man started growing grass on his two fingers and eventually became a grass monster. Another story was of a couple that burried someone in the sand at the beach(up to his/her neck) and had the tide water slowly drowned the person. Said drownee later comes back as a sand monster and seeks revenge. Another story was of a hairy monster that was locked away in a chest. The chest was located in a brightly lit hallway of some sort. The monster made the sound of a sweet little cheeping bird that was meant to enticed anyone walking by to open the chest. The creature devoured anyone that dared venture to peep. My recollection of the movie is a little fuzzy, I was only 3 or 4 when I saw it.

Lovecraft type of film. I saw it in the 90`s.prob about mid 90s or so. All I have to go on is a scene from the film that has stuck with me all the way to now.Group of people (female included) go down into some kind of underground place ( i think under a building ) there are alot of bones/decaying corpses scattered around. They seem to be looking for a friend that they do indeed find.a black guy with a mustashe that had his brain removed through the back of his head (aka you can see behind him through his eyes). The brain is deposited in the belly of a bat like thing that seems to have a set of vocal cords for an ass.he says something to the group but I dont remember what.it was a double feature with the film `From Beyond`.
Result: Ghost Story (1981) with Fred Astaire, Melvyn Douglas, Douglas Fairbanks Jr., and John Houseman. It's one of the perennial "What was that movie?" questions because *everyone* remembers the scene with the car, but the rest of the movie kinda sucks and so it's easily forgotten. The film is based on Peter Straub's novel, which is much better, especially because Eva/Alma isn't a ghost, a twist as used in "Poltergeist", which is about ghosts instead of a "noisy spirit". I saw a TV movie some years ago (20? more?) about four young drunk college men who go out with a beautiful drunken woman and believe that somehow she has died while with them. They decide to leave her in the car and push the car into the lake. At the last moment before the car submerges, they see her screaming for help out the back window.Switch to present day, these four men are back together and meeting when they discover that she is visiting them one by one. Excellent horror film. The four men were played by important actors at the end of their career, I believe that one was Lew Ayres. Would LOVE to recommend that picture to someone, cannot think of the name.

Anyway this is about a horrible computervirus - it does something to the computer and a couple of days later people find the owner of the computer dead. I remember some kind of monsters - it's a ghost or something like that, it flickers like a tv-screen. Anyway I remember a scene where a guy sees this ghost and then jumps under the bed or sth, but when he looks out the ghost is inches away from his face and screams at him. He starts screaming aswell and I think he dies from it.I remember a scene later in the movie where a woman and a man finds out that if they get out of the tech radius (cell phone, electric and stuff) they won't get harassed by the ghosts. But they keep driving away and suddenly the phone gets a signal and two ghosts emerge on the roof of their car.

There is one girl with shoulder length dark hair that lives and the end of the movie is like a video documentary of her and she's crazy. The crazy girl was plotting this trip in the cellar so she could get close to a guy, but he's popular. I think she and one of her other male friends may have killed them off but I'm not sure.

I am looking for a movie from 70's-80's I think in color, I would guess it was an American film. I first saw it on cable TV in New York when I was maybe 10-15, I was born in 1981. It’s about a girl who is told by a boy at school (high school) that she is a witch. He is trying to convince her she really has powers but she doesn't believe him at first. There is another girl who is bad who one is also and I think that she thinks she and the bad witch are destined/supposed to fight. They both have scars on one of their hands and the boy tells the good witch that the bad witch told him it’s a mark of power and the good witch says that she got hers when she slammed her hand in a car door when she was three, I think. Good witch has long dark hair, bad witch has shorter hair. Good witch practices her telekinetic powers with boy at an old barn near a lake/pond I think. There is a fight at the end between the good and the bad witch where they use their telekinesis to fight each other. I think that the bad witch's mother might kill her at the end.

One scene I remember vividly is the teens setting up a trap and it was a pit with a bunch of spears in the bottom of it.

Possibly supposed to have taken place in the 70's but i could be wrong. It was in color. A group of camper/hikers (go figure) arrive on i believe an island. Not a tropical one, pine trees and cold/wet looking. They happen upon this cabin,no ones home but someone obviously lives there. They put on a record and start dancing. One girl goes downstairs and finds something disturbing in a baby crib. The people come home and insist they stay but the people are real religious and some of the campers are obnoxious. I think they had a hot daughter that the dudes wanted to bone. I remeber there were a couple younger kids too. i remember a kid pushed some chick in a swing over a cliff and killed her.

This movie looked to be made in the early nineties, maybe late 80s. Its horror/dark comedy(?) that was played on tv. It chronicles a couples trip away from home in which there car breaks down in the country. Everything seems to be okay as sheriff pulls up behind them and informs them that he can fix there car at his country home. Unfortunetly for them, his family, house, and surrounding junk yard is horrifing and delightfully twisted. He promply attempts to marry the male of the duo to his obese fugly daughter. He also has two sons who are large overgrown babies. i believe one of them was named Bobo. Don't remember much of the rest of the movie besides them somehow escaping and bunch of police showing up at the house at the end.

I saw a movie either in the 1970's or 1980's about a woman whose husband was cooperating with a doctor in slowly drugging her. She hallucinated that she woke up looking huge, in a polka dotted dress, being used as a baby breeder like other women in the hospital room. I remember seeing a scene of the woman viewing herself in a mirror and being just horrified that she was so big she could barely move. Then, some nurses came in and began tickling her which she protested, but the nurses got upset and told her they were under command to tickle all the pregnant women for exercise. After that, the woman would just keep going in and out of consciousness.

The movie im looking for was probably released in the mid to late 90's. The synopsis of the story is basically a young teenage couple deal with surviving street life. I think they were supposed to be white trash or something. The young girl gets pregnant and seems to change the course of the life they had thought they would have. It's obviously a drama but i think it was an indie too. The main characters were played by unknowns.pretty attractive unknowns. I wish i had more to go based on.I do remember this really intense scene where the young boy was talking to his.guardian.i think it was his biological father but they didnt seem that close.any way they were talking about life and the boy was saying some really intelligent things like he had a lifetime of experience to guide the rest of life.it also aired on a hbo channel at one point.

I believe the year is late 90's - early 20's. I saw it on israeli TV, the "Yes" company. The film itself is mainly a dialogue between 3 people - a woman, who is a scientist, a man from politics, and a friend of his. I believe he is a poet. They meet in some distant area, and talk about life and physics. Some ideas remind "what the blip do we know". I just remember a few lines - -Thats poetry!-It's physics.Oh and they talked about how earth is similar to orange.

I'm trying to find the title of a movie from the early to mid 80's. The plot, as best I can recall, centers around a father and his 2 sons. The oldest is probably around 13, the younger b/w 8-10 maybe. If memory serves, the oldest child and father are at ends. Anyway, the oldest boy would always climb out on a tree branch overlooking a cliff. Towards the end of the movie the branch breaks and the boy falls. I believe he ends up paralyzed. I thought the older child in the movie was either the child who stared in Over The Top or The Toy, but I was wrong.

I believe I saw this movie on TV in the afternoon in the seventies. I think it was black and white. Keywords for it would be Kitten, meat hook, chinese (or asian) and school girls. Here is what I recall about it:A young girl has either an older male cousin or older male brother who is a detective. She tries to help him solve murders by leaving him notes which she signs "Kitten." He doesn't know that the letters are coming from someone he knows. The murders that are taking place I think are being done at some sort of boarding school for girls which I think Kitten is attending. I recall there being a scene where there are bodies hung on meat hooks. And I recall another scene where "Kitten" is in some large dark room with lots of boxes (a warehouse?) and there are several other girls also in the room. One of the bad people in the movie is trying to find Kitten in the room and the other girls (who are all Asian) are in the room acting as decoys in order to help Kitten escape. So, the killer will grab a girl and discover it isn't Kitten and let her go and then continue to keep trying to find Kitten. It seems like one of the bad people is an older Asian woman and the other bad person is a large (perhaps fat) man and he is the one who does the killing.I don't think the murders are for sport. I think they are done to cover up some sort of crime involving shipments of some sort (which would explain the warehouse scene) and the victim (or victims) on the meat hooks were killed because they found out the truth about for what the boarding school was being used as a front.

Phoning the police, she discovers that it is now 1927. Smashing the glass in a barred window, she sees old cars and people in period dress outside. Movie - color - most likely from the '80s (maybe the '90s). The main character is a librarian who is finishing up her work after the library is closed. Something happens like a book falling on the ground open to a page with certain information that sparks the librarian's attention. It is a murder? mystery and she thinks that she's being helped by an entity in the library to solve it. She keeps finding clues in different books, microfiche etc. The clues lead her on, but at the end we find out its a trap. The thing she should be scared of is the entity in the library who was killed in the library in the 1940's and the only way she can come back to life is for someone to 'take her place'. At the end, the 1940's librarian is the 'new' librarian, and someone comments to her that she's very proficient. She replies something like 'i've had a lot of practice/experience." At one point, the main character/victim tries to call her boyfriend for help but they get cut off.

I seem to recall a family (possibly mother, father and young daughter) moving into a house and weird things started happening, such as weird things with the electricity. The mum put a bowl of milk on the doorstep, saying to the girl it was for the gnomes. later on in the film blood started swirling in the bowl and splattered in the girl's face. Also the girl found a potdoll that started talkin to her. I also remember an older man (who was possibly i think was trying to detect any ghostly presence) The parents had invited him to the house to try and explain the weird happenings. While he was looking around, knives started flying around the room and they all drop to the floor.

I do remember that there was a giant lifter robot in a scrap heap that was used as a heavy lifter, being used by remote to pick up large pipes, it was used briefly near the end. I also remember at the end one of the robots was trapped under metal girders that fell and ripped off the lower part of its body, and dragged it self on the ground. I'm pretty sure the giant lifitng robot featured on the cover art.

I realise this is an oldie but I saw a black and white movie in the early '70's which was classed as a horror movie and probably made in the '50's. Set in the U.S. I think, the 'baddies' were these very tall crystal structures that grew up out of the earth (or was it the marshes) and crashed down on houses and people, causing all manner of destruction. I can't remember much more, except that the good folk may have solved the problem of these strange growing towers with salt water? I saw this as a very young child and have always wondered about it as I have watched many late night black & whites since and have never seen it again.

I think this movie is from the late 80's to early 90's. There is a group of children (~4-5, a black child maybe wearing a blue shirt, a girl, and 2 or 3 white kids) alone in a house who play a record backwards and/or read a book which ends up summoning different monsters. The horror scenes are represented in pictures from the book/record cover. One of them has a kid fall into a hole in the backyard and little blue monsters cut off his leg. Another scene has a humanoid monster inside the wall which grabs a child and pulls him into the wall. One of the boys runs to the closet to get a BB gun and gets attacked by the monster that comes out of the wall. During the climax the remaining kids read the book/cover and realize they need a human sacrifice to make the monsters go away.

The old mentor/teacher fell for the witch's taunting and turned around, looked at the candle and could not move. The boy did not fall for the witch's taunting, and thru a reflection or something was able to stop her, revive the old man, and return the witch to her tomb. The revived witch bursting out of the tomb doors, and the witch's taunting was very scary as a young boy.

I remember it more by feel than anything else, so I apologize if this is vague. It was a major motion picture, not an indie movie. The plot had something to do with a few kids making friends with a monster, a sea monster, I think, that lived in a lake near their house maybe. It may not even have been a monster, but if it was a regular animal, it was very intelligent and had mythical qualities. It probably died at the end. The cover of the VHS tape had a picture of the animal's eye through some kind of keyhole or porthole.

I remember a teenage girl leaving for school in conservative clothing, then changing into provocative clothes (maybe a black and red striped belly shirt?) once she got to school, away from her parents. There was a seen where a bunch of teens are in a haunted house, where one's boyfriend seems to be lying dead in a coffin. The other girls slide down these slides to leave the house, but end up dying? I think someone blocked the ends of the slides. Then the final seen is the girl and the guy from the coffin talking. I think it insinuates he put the block up at the end of the tubed slides? I have no idea if this was a show or movie.

I have been haunted by a film I saw as a young child. I was about 6 years old. I saw it on TV and I believe it would have been around 1964. It was a black and white movie about WWII. The only part I remember is, a soldier stops his jeep and watches an old Japanese woman as she is walking on a dirt road with a young child. They walk toward the edge of a cliff and look over the side down to a beach below. The woman takes the hand of the young child and they jump to their death. The camera stays on them the whole way and you see their bodies thump on the beach.

I saw a movie on TV in the early 90's that I cannot find the name of. I am guessing it was (1990-1994). It was American, in color, and was never in the theaters. It was a lifetime, hallmark, tbs, tnt, etc. type of movie. I am not sure which one. The movie was based around a man who had grown up and was telling a story about a girl he knew when he was younger (they were about 7-10 years old). The story was obviously set back in time ( in the 50's, 60's perhaps). He and his mother or family had moved to a town near the beach. He did not have many friends and did not know how to swim. The girl befriended him and they played on the beach together a lot. She would always go swimming and would try to get him to come out with her but he was too scared. One day he finally decided that he was tired of not knowing how to swim. So she taught him how to. His mother told him that even though he knew how to swim now, he was still not to go without her there. One day the girl enticed him to go swimming with her when no one was around. I think a storm came up or something like that, but she drown. He could not save her because he was not a good enough swimmer. Her body was never found. At the end of the movie, it fast forwarded to years later when he returned with his wife (I cannot remember if there were children there too) to that spot on the beach where they had played so many times and she had drown. He was telling his wife that story. He cared so much for that girl he just wanted to come back to their spot. While they were standing there looking at the ocean, an older man (fisherman) in a rowboat, rowed onto the shore. They looked inside his boat and saw that he had caught some remains/bones in his net. The man knew that those were the remains of his girlfriend when he was young. Somehow there was also some hair with the bones (she had blonde hair).

What is the name of that movie about a black man (possibly a pimp - I say that becuase he was always dressed in a suit with a hat and I seem to remember him wearing a long coat) who died and his spirit got into different people who then began killing other people with a shaving razor. The film, going by how the actors were dressed, took place in the 50's or 60's (it could've even been the 70's). I watched it on TV many years ago. I was born in 1970 and I watched in during my teen years (I believe it was during the 1980's). I thought the name of it was The Spirit Of St. Louis or The Spirit Of '76, but I have researched both of those titles and the movies that came up were not it.

The footage looked no older than the mid 1990's and it seems likely that it was an episode of a TV horror/sci-fi anthology OR perhaps a series by virtue of these facts: I think what I saw was an hour in length (w/ads), the film seemed to leave the viewer with a "thought-provoking" ethic or moral (as 'The Outer Limits' episodes did), and it may have had a series logo or series-specific footage in the intro, transitions to ads, and ending/credits. I have exhaustively reviewed summaries for every episode of: The Outer Limits, Twilight Zone, and 'Tales From the Dark Side', (though, I cannot be sure I didn't miss one somehow) and I just can't find this.A team of government & military employed scientists have developed a machine by which they can view an alternate dimension/reality/quantum space/parallel world/universe that "exists" (in a sense) in the same "space" that our world exists - but neither universe has been able to detect the other (until now). It was as if this universe was vibrating in a different quantum state from ours. Apparently, the machine was capable of creating a very large "one way" window into this Alternate Dimension (A.D. is my abbr.). The window to A.D. showed an early America Western "frontier" farm property. It appeared to be a small slice of a beautiful, simple utopia from America's past (between 1850 and 1910). This window seemed to show maybe 2-3 acres of land including a large house at the far end of this space (as perceived via the dimensional window). There also appeared to be a multi-generational west-American settler/pioneer family living there including: a beautiful (apparently widowed or single) young mother, a boy of about 9, a grandpa figure, and perhaps more. The A.D. window, perpetually operating, was observed and studied by the researcher characters in this story. However, the A.D. characters seemed always unaware of the other-dimensional observers. The main character, was a male scientist-researcher (or maybe a military figure?) in his 30's (also a widow, single, or divorced). A very pivotal moment in the story was when the A.D. family was outside playing in this large country yard they had, and (I don't remember specifics) they may have been playing a game with a ball or maybe a stick that happened to be thrown by an A.D. character very high and far. So far, in fact, it traversed the dimensional window boundary. The A.D. boy chased the thrown object, but instead of remaining in A.D. and merely out of view, it instead passed through the quantum border and was no longer visible to the A.D. characters (which, of course, generated some confusion for the boy). It was determined from this observation that there was a very limited, regular, daily, amount of time when the window could be traversed from our side. I can't remember how long but I don't believe it was any longer than 7 minutes. The main male researcher character developed a very strong empathy and attraction for the young mother. The A.D. characters could walk all the way to the window boundary and appear to within ten feet of an observer in our dimension, but have no awareness of them. Because of this, the "hero" was a studious 'voyeur' of the A.D. mother. Over time, he noticed she appeared at times to be grieving, and he longed to aid her somehow. Eventually, of course, against the strict and wise council of colleagues and close friends, and against all good practice and protocol of the investigative authorities, he "followed his heart" and wanted to join with this A.D. woman, fall in love, and start a new life in this, by all appearances, utopian A.D.(I LOVED this episode/movie because, up to this point, there was absolutely ZERO indication that anything about the A.D. was sinister. You believe the researcher was acting out the best possible option for his situation. Nothing of the music progression, camera light-gels, script, screenplay, non-verbal cues, etc. gave nuance or even hint of any sort of problematic issue with the researcher's romantic notions.)On this particular day, during the seven seconds (or minutes) the boundary could be traversed, the A.D. young mother happens to be standing unaware at the near corner (within just a few yards of the quantum window "vantage point") where the researcher makes the crossing. After he crosses over, the young mother appears startled and surprised, but very soon calms herself and even begins to smile. Without even an exchange of words, they approach each other, and clasp each others hands in a warm greeting. Then, there is an excessively-long suspension where she smiles at him beatifically -- which, ironically, instantly clued me in that something was very menacingly wrong. He then appears to attempt to begin some kind of conversation. However, the focus YANKS jaggedly back to her and the warm mood instantly vanishes. I believe she shifts her gripping hands up to vice his shoulders, and, oddly, unexpectedly, she rears back her head (CG graphics take over here), and her entire head & face has very rapidly metamorphosed into that of an electrifyingly-hideous, shark-mouthed, black-spiral-eyed, humanoid predator she-creature. (BTW, I would NOT classify her as "vampire". This creature wasn't something I had ever seen before in any mythology. It was unique.) The predator quickly and savagely goes to town on the researcher's entire face, neck, and head (away from camera). He crumples almost immediately to the ground with the she-creature continuing to gorge on his flesh. The rest of the frontier family, having witnessed the new feast "find", excitedly laugh, cheer, skip, cartwheel, and run (without metamorphosis) out to the picnic. The enigmatic grandpa figure, apparently comprehending all that has transpired, rapidly produces what perhaps is an occultic spell book, somewhat near the window's vantage point, speaks aloud some unknown text up to the sky, waves his hand in a circular motion, and the entire A.D. window frontier landscape vanishes. The observers in our dimension are, understandably, horrified beyond comprehension, not only for the vicious death of their friend, not only for the fact someone so sincerely benevolent would be destroyed by the very one he wanted to love, but for the realization that these demonic predator creatures, (because the grandpa figure REVERSED the dimensional window/gateway) will soon have observatory powers & ACCESS to OUR dimension. The memory of that horrible transformation and philosophically "cosmicist" ending powerfully seared itself into my memory. I saw this on TV around 2000, and now want to see it again

This is a movie from the 70's. and I only remember one bizarre, intense scene. It's a group of elderly people gathered in a building under construction. They have an old man bound and gagged in a wheelchair amongst the construction. I don't remember any dialog in this scene. They pour concrete over him and encase him in a box, except that the tip of his shoe is exposed. One of the old men grabs an axe and chops the shoe off - he picks it up and the toes fall out. They all seem unphased by this - as if it's a "body snatchers" type movie. The next day they show the concrete tomb getting demolished.

I saw this horror movie on late night TV as a child in the 70s, however the film may have been made in the late 60s or 70s. The movie opens in a room with a woman dressed in ceremonial robes performing some ritual or ceremony, apparently to summon something. At some point in the ritual, an image appears in the middle of the floor of some zombie looking creature (like a backlit photo). She immediately panics and starts stomping on the image, which then disappears. Her relief is short lived as she hears something approaching the room and looks to the curtain that covers the doorway. She starts to scream and I think all of a sudden you hear "Cut!" or something to that effect. Maybe she interrupts the scene. That's when we learn it is actually a movie set, they were filming some movie with an occult theme, and the woman is some pampered actress who is difficult to work with. They are using some big house and the crew and actors end up staying on site over night while filming. During the process, either throuh some prop, or some other means, something does accidentally get summoned. But I believe it digs itself up out of the ground, like a grave somewhere on the property. The thing was probably zombie like and goes about taking out the crew and actors one by one until pretty much everyone is dead by the end of the movie. I think the zombie was carrying one young dead female somewhere in the end.

There are 2 distinct scenes I remember: The movie starts off with a guy in an attic reading satanic (i'm guessing) writing off the wall, then he jumps onto a knife that is in a bedspring facing upwards and kills himself. After that he is in a "parallel world" connected to a normal man. The other scene I remember, is that they are both driving, one in this world, one in the other, and the "evil side" guy is swirving the car and what not to screw with the normal guy because he is "connected" to him, so the normal guy burns hismelf with the car cigarette lighter to burn the "evil" guy in the parallel world and hurt him. Also, I do believe that somehow the evil guy holds the normal guys family hostage or sometype of that in a an area that is sort of boiler roomish/construction area.

What i do remember is a young brother and sister who have a father who is abusive to the mother (maybe them too). They have a playhouse and escape to it when their father hits their mother. although it looks like a normal playhouse, inside it is as big as a mansion. I also remember they would invite other kids to the playhouse and then trap them in there/scare them. i remember faces pushing into the walls (as though the walls were rubber). Similarly (don't think it was the same movie, but if it was a twilight zone episode perhaps it was another twilight zone episode) I remember scenes with faces pushing through walls as though the walls are rubber scaring a mother who then panicks and goes to check on her son. I'm looking for a movie from the '80's, poooossibly the late '70's. It was in color, I believe. The only thing that I can give as far as information goes, is that the movie took place in a castle in Europe somewhere. There were several people invited to the castle, I'm not sure why. I remember that in one of the bedrooms that a lady was in, there was a huuuuge painting. It was right behind the headboard of the bed and the scene would move. Also, said lady was in a whitish lingerie slip in the middle of the night and was in a different room. She sat down on a chair with lion claws on the hand rests, I believe. Then they grabbed her arms. That's really all I remember about this film. I saw it as a young child

I wouldn't call this movie a horror movie per se, but to a small child of about 6 years old, it was pretty scary. It was an animated movie I think it was released in the late '70s or early '80s and came out -i think- around the same time that The Fox and the Hound was released and could potentially have been shown together as a double feature. I thought it was The Black Cauldron but on watching that particular movie, it doesn't seem to have the scene that I am looking for - and for some reason, I think that I remember the NO ONE seems to have a clue what I am talking about! I will try to relay what I remember of the movie. All that I can remember of the movie was that there was a boy who went (perhaps got taken?) to a castle or tower where there was an evil creature that was either a shadow or had degenerated into a shadow due to its evil. There is a scene that stands out in my mind where the boy and this shadow are on a spiralling staircase or are in a castle tower and the boy is trying to get away from the evil shadow when the shadow scratches the boy's shadow - which results in the boy himself also getting wounded. I think Chernabog from Fantasia's Night on Bald Mountain/Ave Maria segment was in it but I am not positive anymore - it has been far too long since I saw the movie at the cinema when I was a little girl.

I happened to see part of a coloured film on TV a few years back but didn't manage to finish it. I don't think it's a really old film, maybe 90s. From what I could gather and remember, it was probably set in America. A couple go to visit and stay over at his family's place (in a big house out of the city I think. They seem rather weird. I'm not sure if he was estranged from his family before the decision to go visit. I think his family consisted of his mother, 1 or 2 brothers and a hot, black-haired sister. At night when everyone had supposedly retired, the girlfriend/fiancee goes downstairs to get something (I think, or to look for her boyfriend) and accidentally catches a glimpse of her boyfriend sitting on the sofa with his sister sitting astride him and passionately kissing him like they were lovers.

I saw this movie in the early 90's on cable. It was in color and I'm not sure what channel it was on. For some reason the word Green stands out in my mind. It was about a Mexican family that had to deal with gang violence in their neighborhood. I know one sister was always dressed provocatively and was getting the wrong kind of attention from some of the gang members when she decides to dance on top of a coffee table. I think some of the siblings were in a gang and their family wanted them to get out. I think one of the little brothers die from a drive by. This movie was very sad I'm guessing several people die throughout it, I think in the opening credits it had the name of the movie on a street sign, like Green Avenue or something. I'm not sure.

It must have been made in the 60's or 70's. it's in color. I believe the french translation is called "angoisse". It's the story of a rich couple who always play pranks on each other for fun. The husband is a sculptor and at one point he decides to take his pranks to the next level without telling his wife. He lets her believe they have accidently killed the delivery man and tells her he put the corpse in one of his sculptures. (which in reality he had filled up with sand to let her believe it was the weight of the corpse inside) They also have a house guest, this old rich woman who shows up. The husband is basically trying to have his wife committed so he can inherit her fortune. She ends up in a mental institution and in the last scene we found out that the husband and the old woman were plotting together. They cheer at their success with a glass of champagne which we learn has been poisoned by the old woman. She leaves with all the money having killed the husband and gotten rid of the wife.

In the late 90's, I saw a short film on IFC. It was part of a short film marathon. The movie was about a Mailman going through a midlife crisis/mental breakdown. At first, he was living a normal life. However, he later snapped. He quit going on his route, he stole letters, got into verbal fights with his wife. At one point in the film, he started 'planting and watering' the stolen letters. In the end, his wife left him and he was later arrested for his criminal behavior. Furthermore, I saw the movie on iFilm dot com. But the website was later sold and I can not search the site. From my memory, the movie could be 45 to 90 minutes long.

I'm looking for a film which I saw in the early 90's. I rented the film on VHS a few times. Looking back it could have been a TV movie or straight to video movie.I don't think it was released at the cinema. It was an American film about a girl (early 20's) and she worked at a mall. I think she had some personal problem; she was quite shy etc.Anyway a security guy watched her on the video in the mall and went to meet her. They had a romance and eventually had a baby. Then one day the baby disappeared. If I can remember right the girl was accused by everyone including the boyfriend/husband of murdering the baby? The girl went against police and eventually fond that the baby had been snatched, turns out it was by her boyfriend/husband who was leading a double life. He gave the baby to his other wife, who was lead to believe the baby was adopted. So this girl realized she was just used to have a baby for this family who couldn’t have children naturally.

It has been a long time and I'm not sure how accurate this is. I saw this movie in the late 60's or early seventies, maybe black and white. I think it was a French setting, a young girl who befriends an old reclusive man who lives (?) in a cellar or sewer or some underground habitat. He had a pet mouse or rat and turned a huge valve handle to obtain a tiny trickle of water. His intentions were honorable, but the townsfolk assumed not and chased him somewhere. I think the girl showed up and saved him. He was mute, if I remember correctly.

There was a big announcement before she went into the house warning the audience members that if they had weak hearts they should leave the theatre. The setting must be around the 1940's and the military comes through the town to find him. The owner's daughter finds him and they fall in love with each other. The only scene I can remember is when the daughter gets into trouble for something and the father takes her outside to whip her. The soldier sees what is happening from the loft and runs out to save her, but by doing so he would expose the fact that he is hiding there. She sees him coming towards her and yells "Stop" (of course the father thinks she is talking to him and whips her harder); the soldier runs back into the barn.

I have been searching for the past few years for a movie that I saw in the late 1980's, early 1990's. The movie starts off with this young man probably a senior in high school who is living with an older man who is not his father. Anyway, something happens one night where a funny creature is released from a clock. This creature helps the guy find who his real parents are. The guy tries to impress a girl and brings her and I think another friend along with the creature to the mansion that his deceased rich parents used to live in. A man who is now running the kid's real father's company wants to hide the mansion from the kid. He hides it behind a huge office building and plans on ripping it down to find the fortune that lies within as well as build a new building over top of it. So the kid and his friends find the house, break into the basement and find a ton of money as well as a torture chamber and two ghosts who try to torture the kids. The house is also being torn down while they are inside. They escape with a ton of money.

I am looking for a movie that I saw in the early eighties. I am not sure the year the film was made. It is a black and white British film. I remember the movie took place in either a big house or mansion. One character was a butler, who when he hears a bell, becomes possessed. I believe that there was some kind of mind control experiments going on, and this butler whould kill after hearing the bell. The film was not like a regular movie, it was filmed in video tape, I think. I used to watch a selection of similar films late night, on Fridays or Saturdays. I would love to find the collection of films so I can see them all.

All I can remember is a little boy with a creepy little guy in his closet. I seem to remember the creepy guy, (I don't know if it was a monster or a troll or what),trying to lure the boy in or talk him into something. I can remember that the creepy guy spoke well and I think he was wearing a little suit. (He kind of reminded me of an ugly little evil butler. But you can't tell he is bad at first.) It wasn't a very scary movie but the dude in the closet gave me the willies! The scenery I can remember was the kids room and it was dark and I remember blue and white flashing lights during the climax.

The scenes I remember from the movie are as follows: one scene where kitchen cabinets are slamming, and knives are flying through the air at people. There is a door at the top of a set of stairs with light shining through the cracks, and there is a scene where a woman falls into a pool of something, perhaps acid, full of skulls and bones. It may have also had something to do with witches.

I'm looking for a movie from around 6 or more years ago. I do not remember any of the actors, and I only have a vague idea of the plot.I'm pretty sure that the movie was about a family or a young couple who move into a seemingly perfect suburb with perfect lawns and houses, but also many strict rules. However there is a monster or some sort of terror that the residents of the community refuse to speak of and it attacks when rules are broken. One scene I remember goes as follows:A man who I think was watching TV or dozing during the night, suddenly notices that the light bulb in the lamp of his front yard has burnt out. In a panic, he rushes outside to replace it since the rules state he needs the light to be on at night, but is too late and is attacked by something. I think the street lamp he had been trying to fix looks like one of those spheres on top of a pole. At some point, the male lead of the film gets tired of the community's secrecy about the threat, and retaliates by breaking as many rules of the community as possible to try to lure the monster. I think one of the rules was about lawn decorations, and he breaks this by putting pink flamingos on his lawn.

He had like grenades and machine guns in his room.

An sci-fi movie in the early 1960's The villain (maybe alien or not) always wore a black dress overcoat over a black suit, a black fedora and sunglasses. When he took off his glasses, he had no pupils but all-white eyeballs that could melt an individuals' head. The melted head looked like little pillars of melted styrofoam. As he melted somebody, the sound effect was a fast-crackling electrical sound. The bulk of the film was the authorities trying to stop him. But the "catch" at the end of the movie was he was still alive.Seen on TV approximately 1963 or 64. It was B/W and possible British.

I believe I must have been early teens so the movie was most likely released in the mid to late 80's or early 90's. The movie is about some boy who is being chased by a couple of men. I'm not sure why the boy is being chased or it's possible he was kidnapped by them. I want to say that the boy saw them do something but I'm not sure. There is a scene where they are at a house and someone shoots the television set. The boy gets away and leads the men through a chase on a mountain. The boy finds a guy living on the mountain who helps him along by suppling rope and possibly some other items. I remember that the man living on the mountain has some type of windmill? The boy has to cross some river which I remember, I believe that at this point the guys chasing him have caught up and he almost falls. There is also a zip-line used at some point in the film. At the end the boy is sitting high up on a ledge with a fire burning and a helicopter rises out of know where and hovers there for a moment and then leaves.I want to say that I believe the boy and his father were going somewhere together and the boy saw the men kill someone or rob someone so they had to kidnap the boy?
